An Audience With Scrivs
I promised myself that I would have an entry for Garrett up today, but instead I have nothing to show but an interview I did with Chris Garrett. It really is tough to beat an interview done at 3:30am.
Chris asks some good questions, especially someone who is at the ripe ol’ puberty-starved age of 15.
You’ve recently begun work on overhauling the 9rules network, was it hard for you to open up the network to others after it had been entirely yours for so long?
It wasn’t hard because I knew that I simply had run out of ways to improve the network overall. I am fortunate to have a team of 3 individuals who are capable of taking the network to levels that I could only dream of. Add to that high-quality sites that I know if I tried to do myself would result in 28 different failures.
Have you got any plans for sites once 9rules is complete?
I am not sure 9rules will ever be complete, but there are always plans for new sites. I get asked constantly when I am going to start an Adult-themed site akla Fleshbot because for some reason people believe I would be successful in that niche so that is an area I might look into venturing in the future.
Make sure to read the interview in it its entirety and browse through Chris’ archives while you are at it.

You ever up to doing an interview with someone a little older (22) and canadian?
I would love to ask you half a dozen questions or so…

Sure, shoot me the questions whenever. I am obligated to finish Russ Weakley’s questions first however.

Haha, I was just thinking when I was 15. No way in hell would I have been able to pull off an interview like this. I had other issues at that time ;-)
